The Chinese concern BAIC held an official presentation of the new BJ60 crossover. The car received the title of crossover because it has no frame. The car did not receive a frame and is made with a monocoque body, this can reduce the chances of off-road in front of competitors.

The BJ60 is easily confused with Jeep SUVs due to its recognizable front end. The body itself is more likely to be sent to the Land Cruiser, and not the American SUV. It will not work to accuse the Chinese company of plagiarism, because the similarity of the models is conditional.

All design solutions of the car are original, especially the U-shaped lighting elements, which are harmoniously integrated into the radiator grille, stand out. Dimensions: length - 5040 mm, width - 1955 mm, height - 1925 mm. Wheelbase - 2820 mm. The crossover will be available in five-seater and seven-seater versions.

In the cabin, everything is quite simple and concise. Multimedia system - 12.8 inches. What is important, physical buttons are present. The driver has a 10.25-inch dashboard.

The BJ60 will be available in many variations, even a full-fledged electric car is expected. At the moment, only one option is available with a 48-volt starter-alternator. It is based on a 2-liter turbo unit, 8-speed automatic transmission. Power is 266 horsepower and 406 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds. The BJ60 has two gas tanks: 85 liters and an additional 35. Thus, the power reserve can reach 1000 km.
