McLaren has stated that SUVs and crossovers will never appear in the lineup. The company keeps its word, and this car that you see is a development from Spark Racing Technology. The car is destined for the Extreme E Championship and will be driven by Emma Gilmour, McLaren Racing's first female driver, and will be paired with Tanner Faust, a four-time rallycross champion, professional stunt driver and broadcaster.

The Odyssey 21 electric SUV has two engines with a total output of 544 hp. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.5 seconds. The battery capacity is 54 kWh, and the weight of the SUV is 1780 kg. In the car, it is allowed to change only the settings of components, assemblies, and the livery.

The orange livery was hand-drawn by renowned artist and illustrator Vic Lee. As planned, the drawing symbolizes different parts of the world, as well as the racing series, which is held both in deserts and in snowy areas around the world.
