MINI will introduce a new concept car called Aceman that will showcase the firm's new design language. It will be the size of a crossover like the short-lived Paceman of the same name, except it will get an all-electric powertrain. The transition to electrification gives MINI an opportunity to look at new forms of vehicle design.

The all-electric MINI models give us a unique opportunity to rethink our design. At the same time, we maintain the attention to detail, sense of tradition and passion for innovation that MINI is known for

The new Aceman concept should combine some of the details of the new elements with the traditional MINI design when it debuts on July 27th. MINI says the new crossover model will reflect the design themes used in the next-generation all-electric MINI.

We combine the foundation of MINI DNA with innovative, aesthetic and technological inspiration in our new design language. This means that every new MINI remains a true and at the same time future-proof original

An example of the main "MINI DNA" that Heilmer refers to is the Union Jack style LED taillights that will be featured on the Aceman. On the front, the LED signature has a slightly angular and aggressive shape. Also frameless side mirror and grille with LED matrix, which are very conceptual.
