Electric vehicle start-up NIO, which has already achieved success in China's domestic market, also wants to gain a foothold globally in the future.

According to the company, the car has advanced autonomous driving technology. The interior has high comfort, premium sound and modern digital technologies, including augmented reality functionality and the use of environmentally friendly materials. During relaxation, the interior can be turned into a large cinema hall with the help of special virtual reality glasses.

The new model promises sporty driving and long ranges. With 360 kW (480 hp) all-wheel drive, the ET5 is reported to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, and with the standard 75 kWh battery it overcomes more than 550 kilometers on the CLTC cycle. With the average 100 kWh battery pack, you can drive over 700 kilometers on a single charge, and with the largest 150 kWh battery pack, which will appear later, it should even be over 1000 kilometers.

NIO wants to deliver ET5 to customers in China in September 2022, and by 2025 NIO plans to be present in more than 25 countries and regions around the world.
