Polestar is working on several new vehicles that will soon be added to the lineup. One of these electric vehicles is the first electric SUV, which is scheduled to premiere in October this year. A new teaser has surfaced showcasing this vehicle, and it could already compete in the fast-growing electric SUV segment.

Polestar sees huge potential in this segment, which is currently one of the most profitable and fastest growing segments in the automotive industry. The Polestar 3 will be built in the US and China, with the first units scheduled to hit the assembly line early next year. Buyers will be able to place an order immediately after its premiere in October.

Specifications for the electric vehicle have not been announced, but the company says it will rely on a dual-motor electric system powered by a large battery for a target range between two charges of more than 372 miles using the WLTP method.
