The Polestar lineup currently consists of one Polestar 2, with sales of 29,000 in 2021 and over 32,000 orders worldwide since the start of the year.
But Polestar has big ambitions and will introduce its first SUV, the Polestar 3 midsize SUV, this October, followed by the Polestar 4 compact coupe SUV in 2023. By 2025, the annual production of the two SUVs will total 160,000 units.
By then, Polestar will also launch its flagship electric vehicle Polestar 5. Electric debut of the 4-door GT is scheduled for 2024.
The electric vehicle manufacturer has already shown two photos of the Polestar 5: one with a side profile and a more recent one with the rear. The model promises to be beautiful. The front doors have been changed to regular ones with front hinges, the door handles are getting bigger, and the side rear view cameras are replaced by traditional mirrors. In the back, the Polestar 5 will be surprisingly close to the Precept, with identical taillights and bumper, and a slightly different tailgate.
