Great Wall is paving the way for two of its brands, Ora and Wey, to hit the market this fall. The two companies are currently in intensive negotiations to expand the strategic partnership between the two brands to other important European markets.

For GWM, this is an important milestone on the way to Europe. This collaboration project with Emil Frey sets the course for our entry into the market and the path to our customers who are waiting for our vehicles

At IAA Mobility last year, GWM announced its relocation to Europe and has since been preparing to enter the first countries. Vehicle deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2022. The Chinese multi-brand group is kicking off in Europe with the all-electric Funky Cat from electric car brand Ora and the Coffee 01 plug-in hybrid from premium brand Wey.

In the last few months we have had very intense and confidential discussions with GWM and we realized very quickly that there is a lot of overlap between the two companies. Emil Frey has extensive experience to ensure that the innovative GWM Ora and Wey vehicles are a complete success in Germany. We very much look forward to working closely and convincing many customers of GWM products
