High power charging and online functions for Audi Q4 e-tron

Fast charging and uninterrupted connectivity: Audi continues to develop its all-electric Q4 e-tron series. The Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron models have a number of new features. Customers can expect shorter charging times for larger battery options. In addition, the offer via Audi connect and the myAudi app will be expanded.

The high-performance models of the Audi Q4 e-tron series will start in 2022 with shorter charging times. Variants with a large battery delivering 76.6 kWh of usable energy (82 kWh total) will benefit from this. i.e. the Audi Q4 40 e-tron, Audi Q4 45 e-tron quattro and Audi Q4 50 e-tron quattro models and their Sportback derivatives. Now they are charged with up to 135 kW. Charging times for the Q4 40 e-tron and Q4 Sportback 40 e-tron are ideally reduced from 5 percent to 80 percent to 29 minutes for the Q4 45 e-tron quattro and the Q4 50 e-tron quattro and Q4 Sportback models. 50 e-tron quattro up to 36 minutes.

These improvements come from optimized thermal and battery management software. All models have one thing in common: CO2-free local driving, long distances and, if desired, convenient charging with the Audi e-tron charging service at approximately 320,000 charging stations in 26 European countries.

Audi connect integrates Amazon Alexa

With the integration of Amazon's Alexa voice service, Audi connect now also offers the ability to voice control your calendar or shopping list and control compatible smart home devices from your car. Personalized user profiles in the vehicle, last mile navigation options and advanced application functions for vehicle status and parking position further expand the Audi connect portfolio.

A private emergency call can be made via the emergency call service and Audi connect, which provides routing in the appropriate national language to the desired location. The online emergency call via the service call button in the roof module is designed to provide quick and competent assistance. The data and voice connection is made through a separate mobile phone module, which is independent of customer telephony and has an integrated SIM card that is installed in a collision-proof location in the vehicle.

As for the infotainment system, Audi's largest display to date rounds out the lineup. The optional MMI touch display has a size of 11.6 inches and a resolution of 1764 × 824 pixels and is part of the MMI pro and MMI plus packages.

New charging features in the myAudi app

The free myAudi app also offers new features. Pre-planned routes can now be conveniently transferred to the car via the myAudi app. The e-tron route planner automatically integrates recharging stops based on the current traffic situation, and the customer's individual consumption is included in the calculation. In addition, a charging target can be set via the app, which the smartphone can inform you about with a push notification when the desired charge level is reached.

The stylish Black plus package emphasizes the vehicle's dynamic character.

The stylish Black Plus package helps to emphasize and further personalize the Audi Q4 e-tron. Black accents in the singleframe area as well as black Audi rings and a black buckle accentuate the front end. The front and rear bumpers are also painted black, as are the decorative stripes on the side windows, and black model designation can now also be ordered for all Q4 e-tron variants (previously there was only one version).
