The Nissan Ariya electric crossover will embark on a journey with British traveler Chris Ramsey, who will drive from the magnetic North Pole to the South Pole. The adventure starts in March 2023.

Nissan claims it will be the world's first all-electric adventure, with Ramsey and his team driving the Ariya crossover over 27,000 kilometers across multiple regions and continents. Temperature fluctuations for the entire trip will be from -30⁰C to +30⁰C.

Chris Ramsey will be the first person to drive from pole to pole in an electric car. He will begin his journey in the Arctic and pass through North, Central and South America, and then cross over to Antarctica. Ramsey and his team's route will take them through some of the world's most extreme and beautiful landscapes, including snow-covered glacial landscapes, treacherous mountain climbs and vast desert dunes. The Nissan Ariya will receive several modifications, including suspension upgrades and new wheels.

The all-wheel drive Ariya is equipped with the advanced e-4ORCE all-wheel steering technology, which provides excellent smoothness and stability. For Chris Ramsey, this expedition will be the second big electric car journey after he completed the Mongol Rally in 56 days in 2017 with his own Nissan Leaf
