Korando e-Motion, Germany brand's first electric vehicle already launched in Europe, while U100 is an expansion variant, J100 another electric model will arrive in the second half of 2023.
The first images give a glimpse of the car, which will first be presented in the summer in Korea and then in Europe in an all-electric version. The name is inspired by the Torres del Paine National Park, which stretches over various mountains, glaciers, lakes and rivers in Patagonia in southern Chile. The new SsangYong Torres should give its driver the same sense of adventure, freedom and power that one can experience in a national park.
A modern interpretation of the brand's authentic design heritage, the SUV delivers a healthy dose of reliability. This also sets the Torres apart from the more urban soft SUVs of many competitors. The front part is decorated with a vertical, confidently designed radiator grille, and at the back there is a kind of spare wheel holder that conveys the character of a real SUV. On the other hand, in the interior, you benefit from a large amount of space and excellent use of space. Numerous practical features make Torres ideal for activities such as hiking and nature excursions.
