Updated Leaf received only 2 complete sets S and SV. The car received a new Nissan V-shaped grille. The bumper also received a new shape, there are headlight settings. The front icon is now highlighted. 17" multi-spoke wheels are optional on S and standard on SV. At the rear, the diffuser and spoiler have changed to improve aerodynamics.
The interior has new black fabric upholstery. The S trim has gray trim, while the SV trim has glossy black accents. The start video on the dashboard is also different.
The car comes with the Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology package. SV Plus adds ProPilot Assist 3 driving assistance system and Intelligent Around View Monitor.
The power unit has not changed. The S model is equipped with an electric motor with 147 horsepower (110 kW) and 322 torque. SV Plus has an output of 214 hp. (160 kW) and a torque of 338 Nm.
The next generation Nissan Leaf will debut around 2025. It is reported that instead of a hatchback, the car will turn into a crossover and will run on the CMF-EV platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
